Sally Atkins, Ed.D., is a Core Faculty at EGS and Professor of Human Development and Psychological Counseling and Faculty/Staff Psychologist at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina where she co-ordinates the expressive arts therapy program. Her publications range from poetry and dream work to issues in higher education and cross-cultural counseling. She has been a practising psychotherapist for 33 years and is a member of the American Academy of Psychotherapists.   She has worked in China, West Africa, Central and South America and in the Native American cultures of North Carolina and the American Southwest.
